Third Act Maine has steps you can take now.

11/8/22 is election day. So much is at stake. Our democracy is at a pivot point. Election-deniers cannot be allowed to take power. Our efforts to stabilize the climate’s regulatory systems are also on the line and there is no time to waste.

Third Act Maine has actions you can take now to respond to these dual threats.

In Maine, we urge everyone to support, financially or by volunteering, Governor Mills and Representative Jared Golden of the 2nd District. Polls show these races to be close; every vote will matter. Canvassing, lawn signs, phone banking and other ways of supporting these candidates can make a real difference in outcomes. Go to the Maine Dems website and click on Volunteer.

We are also deeply concerned about contests in battleground states like GA, NC, WI, NV, AZ, MI, and PA, as loss of either the US Senate or the House of Representatives in 2022 may preclude further progress on climate crisis action, and could endanger the validity of the 2024 presidential election.
